I was fairly confident that it would've been the case yesterday after the way they gave away another point in LA, that's the kinda stuff that really makes me wonder hats going on in that locker room and how much do they really care? We will see it tomorrow, excuses at this point might as well be apologies to the fan base

They were basically perfect last season, it was very hard to expect that again. It's just beyond me how this fanbase is viewing this team right now, bad games or play or not.

It would be nice to have a group of fans, here and other places, that give this team a chance here this season. I mean after the last two years don't they get a little mulligan for games like yesterday here and there?? Look at the last two years, not even talking about prior to that which I could easily point out aswell. Down 3-1 to pens (if you remember game 4 that's the same feeling you all had and were expressing), down 3-1 to the caps, lose 3 games in OT to LA when no one said we'd be close in any of those games, etc....and everyone gave up on them. Sure they haven't won it all, but you all should know not to give up on these guys. You all sound foolish and it's kind of sickening and that's what embarrassing to me. This board last night made me wanna puke reading it. I know once they win tomorrow or rattle off 3 or 4 in a row or eventually win a playoff series, I'll be bringing that up

I saw the first, and heard the second tied up on the way to the show until I lost the signal. Had some good food and awesome beer, and Earthless was incredible to top it off, until the encore.
Why am I saying this?
It was good to get away and not watch the game yesterday, with all the frustration watching this team blow chunks and leads this season, it felt good to blow it off especially finding out they lost again.
Jan calling the team out not by name, but as a whole really resonates with how we are feeling right now. Not being able to show up for 60 minutes is killing them, hell, I'd be happy for 40 minutes.Current play shows that we are nowhere close to winning a cup, much less making it out of the first round, assuming we even make the playoffs. The inability of this team to shut down an opposing team if frightening. If you can't close out a regular season game, how do you expect to win in the playoffs?
Not a huge Sather fan, but having the President step over the coach and GM to stick his foot up their collective asses means that we as fans aren't the only ones noticing how bad this team has been. When is the last time he did that? I don't remember Slats ever doing that.
This team seems to have lost their collective drive. Not individual drive, mind you, some players still put it all out there.
I will finish this rambling nonsense with a word we're all familiar with.

Well there's not taking penalties and there's not getting called for penalties, Crosby was as guilty as Hank last night, slamming his stick like a petulant child followed by throwing punches at Oshie and Oshie being the only one called, that poop was embarrassing to see, I've seen Glass get roughing calls in two straight games and he threw less punches all together, I guess one is a league favorite

I was very surprised they doubled Horny, and nothing to Crosby... but also surprised Oshie got just 1 minor when he continued to throw punches after Crosby's helmet was off and he was on the ice. That is usually a major or misconduct.

But a huge amount of missed poop at that game. Refs lost control.

But that is why I referenced the Flyer's game, not last night.
