Why are you here again? Do you spend all of your time trolling the boards of every team after they have a bad game or are we just that special?

It would be nice to have a group of fans, here and other places, that give this team a chance here this season. I mean after the last two years don't they get a little mulligan for games like yesterday here and there?? Look at the last two years, not even talking about prior to that which I could easily point out aswell. Down 3-1 to pens (if you remember game 4 that's the same feeling you all had and were expressing), down 3-1 to the caps, lose 3 games in OT to LA when no one said we'd be close in any of those games, etc....and everyone gave up on them. Sure they haven't won it all, but you all should know not to give up on these guys. You all sound foolish and it's kind of sickening and that's what embarrassing to me. This board last night made me wanna puke reading it. I know once they win tomorrow or rattle off 3 or 4 in a row or eventually win a playoff series, I'll be bringing that up

Anyway my 2 cents...

Love the moves made by Anaheim at the deadline, Mcginn and Pirri added good depth, some teams get it
- KreiderBomb

Two players I wanted, especially Pirri. Both of them would have really rounded out the lineup.

I'm so sick of reading who we should have and who we don't have. We have who we have. You sound like spoiled kids, it's a joke. I understand who we do have are nothing but old and useless players according to people but let's have some semblance of faith in these guys. If it's not to much to ask. This is why I stop reading and posting here, I swear we have the worst team and org in the NHL since the beginning of time. This group has given has highs not to many orgs have seen recently. Your blog is bordering on pathetic Jan, hate to tell you

Exactly and we don't need a Cup to have a fan base, thanks for proving my point

Those things are all well and good but we sit here today with no Cups for all that work and looking more likely that it's not going to change, they've been given too many chances IMO, this fan base starves for and deserves a Championship already

TJ, I think I have and continue to be balanced. Just because I say I wish we had someone here doesn't mean I am pining over not having them. This is the first time since the deadline I mentioned either player and only because they were mentioned in a comment.

I am also not going to sugarcoat it when they play poorly, which they have been. If I give them the credit when they play well, which I have, then they also have to criticism when they fail to live up to their salaries and their performance on the ice is lacking. That's all I am calling out here. I hope they turn it around and still feel they can. But to ignore the issues that exist is also ridiculous.

TJ, you know I am not a polly anna blogger nor do i just rip the team repeatedly. Sorry if the blog struck a nerve but I think I am fairly calling it as I see it. Feel free to disagree, which I can tell by your comment. I don't think you are right nor do I believe it's pathetic, but you are entitled to your opinion.

Vin my point is, you and others, act like we're the Cleveland Browns of hockey. It's (frank)in ridiculous. That's what's embarrassing, not giving up 52 shots. It's obviously not easy to win the damn thing

Not specifically talking about you in general, but the last 24 hours have been absurd in a wide range of ways.

Maybe I'm grasping at straws, by hopefully yesterday's loss is the wake up call they need.

That was just the latest in a number of losses where we hope it wakes them up, we havent seen this poor display of hockey this late in the season since they last missed the playoffs, each of the last two season they've played great from January on, there's no traction with this season, winning the Cup isn't easy but you can tell who's got a legit chance of winning, I'm not very confident at all that this team is one of those, I'm still seething from that performance yesterday, Slats telling them it was embarrassing kinds shows where they're at, never seen that before

TJ, the fanbase is rightly annoyed. The close door meeting after the loss is a pretty good indication that the frustration is wide ranging. While the reaction may be slightly over the top, I think it's fairly spot on.

I hopefully am going tomorrow. Maybe the home crowd will get them going in the right direction.

The seasons is over and blow up the roster?? That's spot on?

If you do go, I'm sure the booing will be intense

No, i mean the frustration at seeing the same mistakes. Too early to say blow it up. But getting angry at what they have seen is a valid emotion.

If they get off to a lead or are scoreless but playing better, maybe not. But you know if they have a lead, every fan will be thinking how will they blow this one. Given eight blown leads already, it's a fair assessment.

I tell you one thing, if NYR doesn't respond from this last game, then I will think it's over. Gotta give them a chance to respond. A big winning streak before the playoffs is the only way to go into playoffs. After this latest embarrassing loss, NYR had no other option. If they don't , then there IS a real problem

It will be and when's the last time they really hot a good booing at home, team needs some tough love and a splash of reality, maybe a kick in the nuts too, my son loves to do that, maybe I'll buy him a ticket
