I love the fact we come out after Daley goal with Cullen, Kuhn and Rust. The meat and potatoes line. They seem least likely to do something stupid and give a goal back, just like what happened last time we were up 2-0 on Caps.

This team with the young blood showing heart we just haven't had the past few years. Previous teams would have wilted after that first 5 minutes.

As March Madness announcers would say: We're a glass slipper type of team. We could make some noise if Malkin comes back in time.

Kuhn is a guy that has played much better of late. I think he just needed to get use to the NHL but he is a serviceable bottom six player. I wasn't impressed with him early but he's doing a nice job.

That's the only thing in the way of being a serious contender. The PP has been f'n awful without Malkin.

these young guys can at worst usually tread water during even strength. if malkin could come back and the PP could function, this team could do some damage.

No clue why Bones is in on the first PP. I'd strongly consider trying out Fehr down low.

It's amazing how you can sometimes see the hands of destiny at work. If sullivan didn't start the season in WBS and was hired off the street to coach the team they would not have the success they are having right now. Rust, Wilson, Kuhnhackle, Sundqvist, Simon, Murray, those are all our draft picks and they are the guys, to different degrees, that are responsible for this team playing so well. I throw Sheary in there too even though he was never drafted we gave him his first pro contract. The things these kids have in common are what is so contagious right now, they are hungry, fearless, driven, and one for all all for one. After a lot of frustration this year with this team it's all coming together at the right time and it's just a lot of fun. A big F you to all the cynics and doubters like Sammy and Jkfst and holeinone and any other clown that has to try and ruin our party. I was never in doubt.

Might as well. He's been taken shifts with Sid and Sheary.

its infuriating that kessel either refuses to or simply flubs shots. but his passing is insane

I don't get that either. Finally a nice PP and Bonino flubs the best chance.

If they can manage to keep that energy and haul out a win, which will be hard on a B2B, they'll be rewarded with 3 days off. Can't let up.

As great as we are playing I think if we lose one of Letang, Crosby, or Dumoulin we are in some serious trouble. Those 3 are just irreplaceable right now.
