true, but we'd be way more competitive for a few years with him. If it helped guys like horvat etc offensively its worth it.

Could be incredible line with the sedins! Record year for all 3 is possible

Yeah, i think he would be worth it too.
I would not want to rely on him for too long or anything, but if you could sign him to a Vrbata like contract. 2 years, 10 million total. That might be fun.

I think he is no where near his ceiling. He keeps getting better every month. Has he even played 82 games yet?
- VANTEL

nah, he's hit his top last season. Not saying he isnt decent when at the top.

We've seen he cant keep it up. Had a decent 1st half and by season end he was the laughing stock of the roster.

I agree with that. No more than 3-4 yrs tops. 2 yrs plus club option extension for 2 years.

I just realized your Dimitri reference last night was to Randorph calling Tryamkin it all night. I was at the game so didn't hear it.

Yeah he was awful with the names last night . He corrected himself at one point and the switched back to calling him the wrong name again

He would be a stop gap, not a cornerstone player.
- dbot

true....he is young. he did stink it up last season 2nd half and couldnt crack lineup here either. I truly dont think he'll get much better. Preferably I'd love to be wrong here and this asset improves.

The smart hockey people in LA Kings franchise talent assessment wise obviously see it the same as I do however. I think I'll side with that.

I'm not convinced on the Hamilton trade, but they took a punt and it seemed a good gamble at the time.

Overall, they've done a pretty good job with that squad.

lol…if they weren't they are now. Which is good we need the leaders to lead and that means calling out players. Sedins of course need to lead by example a bit more as well but the have earned that right to call out some teammates IMO.

I'd do it over again in a heartbeat ...gave up a first and had an excess of 2nds to throw in...D men in the draft are a crapshoot ...rather than draft a Kid who won't be ready for years we got a 22 year old who is a .5p/game in his career ...Hamilton struggled early but has gotten better as the season progressed

Comparing management between a rebuilding team and a 2 time cup winner ...yeah I'd have to agree with you

Losing is a part of building, you can lose but still play the right way with effort, that's not happening! I can take losing with kids, what I can't accept is losing on purpose, which appears to be the case.
