We're gonna have to really go on a run on the road here. If they lose say 3 of 4 on this road trip were in trouble.

Well that's what happens when you dig a hole. We went 8 1 1 in the last 10 and got a 1 point cushion in the standing which evaporated. It's hard to make up that ground and keep up the pace.

They're not contenders. It's gravy if they get in. Not the end of the world if they don't. We have a few guys that we can talk about for next season that could be here. They'll still get a decent pick too. We're on the way up....closer every day.

I hear you. Missing the playoffs 3 out of 4 years sandwiched around a first round exit at the hands of the Rags is too much horsepoop. I know things are looking up and though they aren't true contenders yet, making the playoffs this year would be a nice accomplishment. Need to see some playoff hockey this year.

Still have 2 games in hand. Maybe Detroit goes on a crazy run too and gets in. Good for them, but 95-96 points is a pretty safe bet. One that still gets them in even if Detroit plays pretty well.

People need to relax. Today sucked but that's all it was. Playoff position wasn't won in a day (beating Detroit) and it won't be lost in a day like today. 82 games and they all worth up to 2 points for the Flyers

If this is true about umby it's good news. Maybe the buyout was a plan all along if he came over and was bad. All about the youth. I'll lose my mind if provy makes the team. Head will explode if konecny is here, but I can't see that happening. Ghost has defined this year. Building baby.

Remember at the start of the year, the playoffs were not even a real possibility? Hell, a month ago we were all looking more at the lottery than a possible playoff berth. Now the Flyers are very much alive in that playoff race.

Might as well enjoy the ride. It will suck if they don't make the playoffs, but it's not as if they were the Habs & it's crushing. Unlike past years where they made a late run & had a worse pick, they're building to something here. The focus is on the future. Playoffs now would be a nice gift.
