Also for WD to roll 4 lines he needs 4 lines capable of playing that much.

Easy to address the center depth? I don't think so given you're competing against 29 other teams and ours is about to hit bottom with all this unproven youth.

IMO you'd have to throw extra money at any UFA to sign them in Vancouver. Yes it's a nice city but the team is terrible and their travel schedule is one of the worst in the league.

Hard to argue that.
Still can make a huge play for Stamkos.
That fizzles then on to Backes on our terms.
That fizzles then its status quo.
Other areas will also get attention in their own way eg D

JB has so much work to do its not funny.
Gonna be a huge juggling act remaking the roster.
Need vets n depth up fromt n the D rebuilt n kids developed.
Idk if he gets UFA's that make sense or trades but something has to give.
The draft will help us but not immediately.
Next season we need to stay healthier or its another long season.

The draft is fun and all, but it's years before you see it's fruits unless you draft a McDavid or Crosby.
