He says, “But they begged me to go up, Michael! They begged me to go up!”

That certainly sounds like something he'd say.

He's like a less funny and lovable Cosmo Kramer. Random as f and just plain stupid.

I'd loved to have seen Keith Richards with his knife going after Donald Trump.

That will be interesting . If we were to protect say 1 G 4 D and 9 forwards it would depend on who we drafted. Also would the draft be open to your farm team. If it wasn't I would leave Demko on the farm until 2017 and protect Markstrom otherwise I protect Demko.

If we drafted a Dman this year and he makes the club then I would protect him , but otherwise. Hutton Tanev and Tryamkin. Depending on how Pedan does next year it would be between him and Edler but probably Edler.

I came to the same conclusion days ago.
we currently dont know if there'll be expansion yet but JB would have the inside track on that (and FA as an owner at the meetings). But when are we talking about? I think this summer is too early....do next summer or 2 after. I would think its next summer.

If so perhaps its smart to keep a few guys and not trade for new guys etc, burning up assets on a guy youll potentially lose anyway. It may be smarter to stand pat this summer (other than drafting)....then do whatever you want after expansion draft. So signing hammer (exposing him at the draft) and some other guys already on the team etc might actually end up being productive. But only do this if you know the expansion draft is coming of course

Don't want Lucic n Gaunce could be a career AHLer i fear.
- Nighthawk

The general consensus would probably be to pass on any high profile UFA and stay the course. Whatever that may look like.

No, but as you correctly pointed out others need to improve. He is the best of a bad bunch right now. I think he needs to improve in a few areas and be more consistent overall, otherwise he will be a frustrating player to watch. Guys that have his level of skill and talent are expected to get to a certain level of reliability; I expect him to pan out into a solid top 4 and PP specialist, though he could surprise for better or for worse it is still early

He's a number 2, possibly number 1 mark my words. It takes a while to learn the defensive side of the game at the NHL level. He'll be vancouvers Duncan Keith - BOOM! I just blew your mind....

Having clueless do it yourselfers telling you how to do a job you've been doing for close to 15 years is beyond frustrating. But if you want to make them happy, sometimes you have to be their female dog.

Are we talking about Hutton? I'm blitzed. Anyways, people may not know or remember but he was dominant in college. Generate an incredible amount of shots and drove the offense...he may have been drafted late but his progression had been impressive for several years. I suspect he could be a No 2

Miami....nice....no Subbans still with us, TL and JB tried but apparently his feelings got hurt so they announced he's going to be the offensive dman that's sorely lacking...
