PO hockey is heavily dependent on coaches. Ducks have the worst coaching from that 4 so they wont go far.

I'm sitting here listening to Fox on Trump and the rowdy crowds(I started with the left media, now listening to the right), and realizing the media is there to just troll its viewers and listeners...

Right now they are learning to compete....THATS the future right there, dont screw it up for a single high 1st that may not even pan out. Look at the sens, they did poor, selected yashin #1 and were hobbled for next 15 years.

But we are better then those teams. When we tank and get that high first it will be a future hall of famer. We are that good at drafting and developing.

As a player I have never played any game to lose. Losing sucks even if the the game seems meaningless to some its not to the players. Would I love a top 3 pick? Yes but I like winning.

Totally agree with this the players want to win for sure and don't care about anything other than securing their spots for next season. Tanking for a pick is manipulated by MNGT and there is nothing the players can do about that. I have been a die hard Canucks fan for 44 years and always will be and do really enjoy the times when they win...having said that looking 3-5 years ahead the time for high picks is now. Not chasing an unattainable wild card spot just to get pummeled in the first rd. I get the whole making the PO's thing but with this roster and injuries...it won't be pretty.
