The problem is the product is starting to stink. I am not even watching the early game . I tried watching but it was brutal.

They need to find a way to make it more competitive right to the last day .

This isn't something that is exclusive to having a weighted lottery. The early game stunk for the entire 80's.

I honestly don't remember it being that bad.

I heard on the radio earlier this week that the GMs are going to be looking at the lottery and teams that draft more than one 1OA in a small span of years. The Edmonton Oilers rule

That's because the game was more wide open, and there were a ton of fights. There were some awful, awful teams playing that early game.

The Dead Things. They got 40 points one year......40!

Actually, the entire Norris division was pretty bad for the most part........and they were on the early game most of the time.

You know after a while it takes it toll. The stupid trade offers, lineup predictions, some including outlandish trades or signings... It just gets old.
Not to mention throw in the trolling from other teams, many of which have awful teams to cheer for.

Here we are on a Saturday night and I'd rather watch a Hugh grant movie then the Canucks vs predators. Monday I'm playing tennis instead of sitting front row to watch the Canucks.

It's always been hockey all the time for me, but it's pretty depressing right now, wishing for your team to lose. I feel like I need a shrink, at least a shoulder to cry on. Yet it continues on here, same characters doing the same schtick over and over, it's taxing to say that least.

What about the Leafs? That is a (frank)ing awful team.

For the last decade yes and Oilers too. I don't remember 10 teams being horrible in a year, it was usually one or two

I feel exactly the same way in your 1st paragraph!
THe line up predictions after each individual transaction...or even the hoped for transactions that havent even happened on a busy day like TDL.

BUt I will never ever hope for my team to lose. The tank notion is retarded. It hobbles teams for many years.....no thanks, I'll just stick with JBs smart drafting.
Tanking is for idiot GMs who cant otherwise draft decently.

Can't dispute that 1st paragraph, but some people meet their tolerances at different stages, yours is now.

2nd paragraph, you my friend must be a romantic, I've seen some of your other movie references in previous posts and my wife would be hot and heavy if I suggested watching a Hugh Grant movie... Also you'll have more fun playing tennis than watching the jets.

3rd. I'll always cheer for the win and be happy with a loose... everyone dreams different and some are dreaming for future choices and are looking for like minded or just wanting hockey dialogue in any forum.
