2-0 Avs geez - Nighthawk
The NHL has to fix this. It is unwatchable . Two months before the season ends and the bottom teams have their AHL teams dressed. It needs to be an even weighed lottery for the non playoff teams.
I stopped watching the Winnipeg game and am watching Big Brother side show. The product is unwatchable. |

I like the idea...still get the call-ups, but the deliberate tanking for top draft positions would disappear |

I think even drawing the odds in much closer while still keeping in weighted would have it's desired effect. |

Why not just make the 14 non playoff teams even weight? |

Good game day gents - got a questions for y'all
Benning mentioned that he got his eye on a few FAs just wondering who you seriously think he/we could get??? Stamkos being a pipe dream of course....
I was thinking Boedker, Okposo, McGinn, Stewart might be decent pick ups - they kinda remind me of Sutter - middle age vets, not breaking the bank and slotting in on a wing possibly |

Because the true bottom teams need the help more.
That would be kind of like having just one tax bracket. |

I don't think there is more than a 20% chance of Stamkos signing here but it is not out of the Question.
I think the Sedins Edler Tanev could be more attractive towards winning than TOs roster.
There are only maybe 4 teams with the cap space to do it.
If we did win a top three pick that might also be attractive to him.
Like I said unlikely but not impossible |

The bubble teams are NJ Car Col Phi Minny. I don't think their rosters are much better than ours. I don't see why we have to have a big advantage. Even Toronto had Kessel and Phanuef who made their roster comparable to the bubble teams. It is not Col. fault that TO wants a rummage sale.
Two weeks ago we were neck and neck with Col Nj Phil and Minny. |

I think he said one of each????
Ok so who do you think he'll target D wise?
Gologoski or Demers would be decent IMO |

Aside from the Capitals there is as much of a difference in points between the bubble teams and the bottom feeders as there is the bubble teams and the league leaders. Why limit it to non-playoff teams then?
Some sports still don't have a lottery, if you finish last you pick first. |

The problem is the product is starting to stink. I am not even watching the early game . I tried watching but it was brutal.
They need to find a way to make it more competitive right to the last day . |
