You are referring to who Hammy? Matthews and ____? Or do you mean I've never watched a blue chip prospect play? I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for your response |

Laine, your #1 pick apparently. Sometimes i think my dog has more hockey knowledge than you, slightly more bearable as well

I'd probably take Matthews first but it would be tough. I've seen all of their games in the world juniors and highlights that's it
Matthews would be our number one center. He is better than any of our prospects |

yeah, not enough to claim that either are a franchise player, let alone laine. |

You are right at the top of my top 10 list of stupidest posters Hammy...it's a privilege to converse with you. Bye for now |

as usual, no actual arguement, showing how much real hockey knowledge you have (or lack thereof). Better luck next time |

Or we could say all the best with retirement - VANTEL
They're still top scorers in the league, and you want them to just go away?
The twins can provide secondary scoring for awhile yet. |

I'm okay with the Sedins being our 2nd/3rd line down the road if we have a legitimate top line (most fans would agree), that would be a potent offense. Especially if they both took match 3m AAV deals. |

Calgary takes Chychrun? They don't need D they need 2nd 3rd and 4th line scoring…badly. - LordHumungous
Take BPA ...id lean towards a forward but it's not as bad 2nd-4th line as you think |
|

I like Laine better but do you want to be the GM that turned down Mathews? I wouldn't - VANTEL
Mathews is the easy choice ...especially for Van |

Top 3 would be great. - thundachunk
Would love one of those two big Finns bro. It would go a long way |

They will be great help to the kids for years to come ....until you have a top line they don't need to go anywhere |

I wouldn't be too upset if the lotto went :
Van

Lets talk in three years see how they are doing. It is a long time away. if they are still producing then they deserve to stay.

Fair enough and I guess I forgot you don't have Russell anymore and they will most likely try to get Wideman off the books. having said that you still have Gio Brodie and Hamilton which most teams would just kill for. I just think with some shrewd drafting the Flames can shore up secondary scoring maybe even get a top 6 stud. |

The funny thing is I want Laine over Mathews but I wont find to many to back me on that |

If the flames land a Fin(or heaven forbid matthews), they are going to be a female dog to play against in 3 years. |

Do we need Matthews if we are signing Stamkos??
Outside of the top 5 I really think we need to draft D D and more Dmen.
I don't mind this Sergechev kid you mentioned... |

For right now a top 6 stud would be ideal ...but we really don't know after the top 3 D who is going to stick ...it's just as likely one of the wingers in Stockton might develop as the D |

Well their deals end in 2 years so hopefully we'll have it figured out by then. |
