What will this season bring? If they are this good now without gelling yet, imagine what they'll be like come March/April.

well our last few french canadian picks have worked out well. just really, really well. so i see no reason to be concerned. we could be looking at the next Eric Chouinard here.

To be fair, he is a much better hockey player than Ti-wi.

His father convinced the Habs brawl to draft him instead of Gagné. I'm not worried about Dubois as long as they don't rush him.

they'll end up in the 8-12 range most likely so anyone they draft will be a long term project.

Not really, he could jump in next year like most top 10 players but he could follow Rantanen path and play 9 games before being sent in the AHL and keep developing. Aside from the top 3, i don't see anybody being a regular next year.

Dubois is a very good hockey player and plays a mature game. You will see him wear an NHL jersey regularly within the next 3 years. Unless they get a top 3 pick (and a big maybe on Tkachuk at #4) you won't get a player ready to jump in next year and have a significant impact.

He has at least 2 more seasons in the QMJHL if he doesn't make it in the NHL

A player must turn 20 before December 31th to be eligible to play in the AHL at 19, like Scherbak this season (he turned 20 on December 30th)

Dubois will turn 18 in June, so it's another 2 seasons for him.
