Tonight was the first time I've seen 3 on 3 overtime live and it was glorious. Nobody was paying attention to the game in our section before the overtime. You could hear crowd chatter throughout the building. But when overtime started everyone shut up and watched basketball on ice. It was so fun.

I think it goes to show that the ice surface is just too damn small 5 on 5. Touchy subject I know.

Bo needs to grow but boy does he drive to the net. Fearless. You can train size into a player but you can't train fearlessness.

Glad you got to see the show! And yup...kids got some good wheels and can finish! I think having Granlund and Sutter could go a long way next year. Centre-depth and D depth...glad to hear that Benning is on it...now I hope he can go out and sign a top 2 dman in FA.

They pushed him into a top 6 role too soon.
He was meant to be 3C behind Sutter/Henrik, but because of injuries, he was thrown into the deep end...he struggled for 1st half of the season and has improved of late.
Linemates don't help.

He will be fine.

I say unless we are drafting top 3 , Sergachev will be our draft pick this year. It makes sense to have Tryamkin Pedan and Sergachev back there for comfort reasons , but also he has the big shot that this team needs from the point.

He's certainly having a good year in Windsor...but didn't Benning say they would take BPA if picking top 16 then look at D after that?

Bo is gonna be just fine defensively. Big minutes vs top 6 players pretty much all year as a 20 year old sophomore. Bergeron was -28 his second season and he turned out ok.
