Linden should stop doing town halls...this fanbase is lucky to have so much communication from the organization and seem to take it for granted. If I was Linden I would only do one per year and put the fans in the dark for awhile. Focus on building the team and not on appeasing the hysterical masses - CanuckDon
The townhalls are for people dropping tens of thousands on seasons tickets. Getting yelled at by some belligerent fans for a few hours a couple of times a year seems like a small price to pay for those renewals. Particularly when they aren't likely to ice a competitive team next year. |

Serious question. How is it that all these players say the same thing when they get caught for performance enhancing drugs? "I didn't knowingly take a banned substance." Derp. I get Sharapova's deal. I really don't get how a heart medication is a performance enhancer. wtf - thundachunk
Some of you know my field is medicine....I can tell you from my knowledge of pharmacology that most if not all performance drugs are actually medication for actual conditions.....or at least previously developed for a medication for that condition. So its not that unusual.
I'm starting to think pro athletes should be registering any ongoing medication with their league and filing their prescriptions so that their league actually has a heads up that they actually require this medication. End of unwarranted scandals. |

I feel like Granlund is on the wrong line. His puck handling skills are pretty weak. He should be with Burrows, Gaunce and or Dorsett.
Haven't been impressed with him lately, doesn't have high end hockey skills like Shinkaruk. |

There are too many of them, it's ridiculous. Higgins getting waived doesn't deserve a townhall |

I would consider it if the Canucks' #1 was low enough, but doubtful. I just mean I would entertain the idea. The team still looks pretty good in net without Schneider, if Demko is Schneider 2.0, it would be a tough loss but Matthews is a player the organization lacks and I would really work hard to find a way to get him if I were in charge - WhiteLie
Demko is breaking Schneider's records.... he might be better than Schneids.. the guy is the real deal.
why trade a guy like that when you can trade Miller in the off season or have him be the backup next season.
Miller should play more games to ensure we get the best pick possible. Markstrom will win more if he's played... |

lol then I don't understand your statement. I relayed all the townhall dialogue from twitter to here so that people knew what was being said, but I always thought they were ridiculous. The only time I have ever mentioned Tanbir is today, and only because he is the only one I can remember attending the Summitt and being such a whiny baby the entire time. People gave him props for ragging on a management group who is in a rebuild and he wanted a CUP. The guy is a LOSER |

Someone asked the question to get #1 overall, would you offer Demko+Van 1st, Miller wouldnt get you that, and I wouldnt do it just as a 3 piece deal but I would consider it if the Canucks were drafting around 10th |

probably a good idea anyways. sometimes athletes have heart attacks etc. It would be handy and may actually save lives to have the drug prescription info handy in the event of something happening to said athlete....instead of waiting for a toxicology screen. Can mean life or death |

202cm is 79.5 inches, which is 6.625 feet, which is 6'-7.5" tall. Like I said, end result was correct |

Im thinking Demko is going to be too good to even consider moving him for even the #1. Decent forwards grow on trees. Goalies this good are extremely rare. And how many #1's have we seen be a bust? I'd stick with the sure bet in Demko. |
