IMO, the Flyers the only reason they are on the outside looking in. Plenty of opportunities to have made up ground so far. No one is running away with the wild card spots, or the 3rd spot in the Metro - funmaster18
true but their line up is so full of holes, even with Couts they are a borderline wild card team |

Also...Ramo out for the season. UFA in the summer
Wouldn't it suck if the Flyers lost Neuvirth to injury mid season next year? |

Yes, but they'd still have Mason so, sail on. |

I think you should have to go through the concussion protocol before you post again. - Doc_Sarcasm
Maybe.
Just the teams ahead of them are world beaters. So I wouldn't be shocked to see
Right now they are 6 points from 3rd in the metro, 4 from the last wildcard.
Ahead of them Carolina I splaying well but can that last? Tampa is struggling. The Flyers still have 3 against the Pens. Lightening 2 more times and Carolina once more.
For some reason I see them pulling this off. |

They are, but with Couturier in the lineup I think they win a couple more of the games they lost. Which would put them at least tied for the wild card. |

Can't be sustained by carolina. The flyers actually have half a team built. The canes have hanifin (not done much so far, granted 18/19 year old rookie dman), and Victor rask. Faulk is the only legit price they currently have. I'm with you, I could totally see the flyers pulling off a playoff appearance. |

Dunno if anyone posted this in a previous thread but it's Hexy reviewing the prospects.

Really insightful, especially since I don't have as much time to read about our prospects. Thanks for posting brother. |

Interesting quotes on NAK and Lindblom. Looks like they're going to be given a long look in training camp. - TobyFlenderson
Konecny with 79 points in 48 games
and NAK 71 in 47 games. It really sounds like Hextall is expecting him to make the team out of camp. |

He and Provy will get a long look at next year's training camp IMO. Konecny prob will need to pack on a little muscle, but I'm not worried about the size crticism..see Ghost! |

Signing Linblom to his ELC as soon as the Swedish season finishes seems like the way to go. |

Yeah, lots of love from Hexy in that comment about him. It does sound like he thinks he's ready. |

I loved what I saw from Konecny in the preseason. Imagine if they both make the lineup and someone like NAK and/or Lindblom sneak on? This team could start looking differently in a hurry. |

Do they finish before the AHL? It would be great to get him signed and get him in a few Phantoms games. I could probably google this but I am lazy.
Edit: Looks like they're playoffs run from March-April so he maybe could get in a couple of games depending on how Brynas finishes. It seems like they're fairly decent. |

It's selfish of me to want to speed this rebuild up, but if 2 or 3 of those guys make the team next year I will be over the moon excited to know that we're starting to turn the corner.. I can even handle the mistakes of learning just to know Hexy's plan is startingto come to fruition. |

Don't wanna be a downer, and I'm excited for NAK, but keep in mind that he's playing in the QMJHL, a.k.a. the "No defense league." It's getting closer and closer to WHL/OHL levels, but still a lot of emphasis towards offense rather than defense. |
