I find the commentary from the "knowledgeable sources" hilarious... its like they are trying to out-do each other for the most seemingly plausible outlandish landing spot...

i) Buffalo - yeah... every celebrity who makes the money that Stamkos makes is going to chose Buffalo over Toronto.

ii) Montreal - only bonus of Montreal over Toronto would be - Carey Price

iii) Vancouver... so Steve is going to chose living in a city where he pays a ton of tax (just like Toronto) but lives in a shoe-box apartment for an incredibly high price... on a team that's headed for the toilet bowl

iv) New York - how many players would the rangers have to move to make room for Stamkos... but it would give him a "win-now" situation

v) Boston - like Toronto or Vancouver... before them... the Bruins just haven't figured out they are on the downhill slide.... but with that said they have two top 6 centers already making big dollars... not sure they want to add yet another

vi) Los Angeles - same question as new york.. and they've just re-upped Kopitar.

I'm against a guy who started rough but has picked up a lot recently... though he has Seguin (doubtful after getting his arm cut) and Gibson (took a massive hit to the head Saturday, Ducks recalled Khudobin).... so I'm hopeful
