yeah upon further investigation the kid actually has some solid stats. the only player in the 2000s (literally since 2000) that has better ppg totals is crosby by a mile and in one season radulov who doesnt even play here anymore....

i can see it. i guess its just unusual for a player of such a young age to dictate his playing time but im sure theres more to the story.

i just find it odd you draft 1,2,3 and 2 out of those 3 players might not be there in 2016-2017. blows my mind.

most teams would dream of getting picks like those. if stammer and drouin both slip away ill be shocked.

theyve replaced them well with great later round drafting, but still. their detriot-style drafting has been excellent though. hopefully the leafs follow suit which appears to be working well so far.......
