It wasn't so much an interview as a soap box, an opportunity for her to say lots of stuff that has been on her mind for a while or a moment, regardless of the questions...

at least there was some honesty in her comments and a little glimpse from someone so removed from the lifestyle and grind of a hockey player.

my Mom calls me once a week, she says to see what is going on, but it is more or less her telling me everything that is going on her life, I don't usually get a chance to say much... maybe all moms aren't like this, but it isn't uncommon. have to be patient with the lady who raised you.

Here's the thing with NHL goalies: they play a lot more than in jr leagues...its why you have to ease them in more, you dont hand them a starters role unless youre ure they can do the full 60 gms.

The reality w/ Mcaan? Who knows. Maybe hes dealing with coke issues or has sore ribs, or a friend who died recently. Maybe Cracknell has earned it. Coach knows; we don't.

Ehrhoff was placed on waivers today.... think JB will pick him up, especially with Edler out now for a while?

In fact last year in the playoffs Markstrom lost 2-1 in the 4th overtime period making 65 saves in the process, he then started the next game, the next day winning 2-1 again in overtime.

Fair enough...but I was less referring to that, and more to overall starts. AHL goalies normally start under 40 games...

This is why you sometimes see them fall off at the tail end of their first full season, and why you don't generally go with a rookie goalie as a #1, even if their kicking ass.

He was brutal enough last night after his team wins 9-2 to convince ownership to get rid of him. If you seen him play at all over the last year , one would not be asking to bring him in. Biega is a much better choice than AirSoft
