Miserable, pathetic souls. That after a game like that, pushing back down a division rival who was hot, in they're building, giving us a 4 gm win streak anyone would waste breath on ANY negative let alone DG who just quietly does his job is a (frank)ing tard.

there is this Twilight style fight that is constant on twitter

You are either on "Team Yandle" or "Team Girardi"

it's really very silly

going forward, we know we have some cap issues and Girardi and Staal's contracts are going to be burdens, and much of that negative talk also comes from the fact that McIlrath should be playing every night.

But, the guys are warriors and held the hottest player in the NHL to no points and no shots on goal last night. On the road without McDonagh.

No Ranger fan should be negative this morning.

Not sure if you noticed, but the NHL app photos that are there when the games are on, you could swear McIlrath & Wilson from the caps could be brothers - same shaped head & face. Striking resemblance!

As I said I haven't seen anything from the game yet hopefully tomorrow - driving all day today & poop wifi in my hotel so video streaming is out! But looking at the stats Lundqvist with a shutout, but still how many shots on goal & blocked shots?? Say what you want about Sid with no shots, but if Lundqvist doesn't come up big you guys would have got murdered. I'm actually hoping we get you guys in the first round if we make it.

When did the AV start using the trap???

There's this guy named Malkin that didn't play - he's a pretty hot player, so we'll match you McD with Geno (I'm thinking most would argue that Geno is a much better player but both teams had other players missing as well).

I liked Hayes quote about being consistent as well!

We've beat the Penguins plenty of times over the past few seasons with Malkin in the lineup

Yes waiting for that! We have an ahl bottom 6 so take your pick!

Not sure Nash makes that much difference at the moment does he? You can also take Daley out of the match so we played with 5D for the majority. Looks like you guys deserved the win don't get me wrong, but we have a lot more coming in then you do next game, & will Lundqvist be that good again??

I thought you guys like McIlrath?? Shouldn't he be starting 6 D?

This is when Mr Aussie gets annoying. Off on facts, does not even watch games (I know its cause of his location, no judgment on that), low on wit. Pens were blanked at home without Geno while we were without McDonaugh & Nash! Im savoring this win till tom night.

Didn't he win the mvp somewhere in there as well when we won the cup - remember??

Won't Lundqvist be in hell to think Flower won a cup & he won't?? Poor bastard!

Nash plays in every situation and opens the ice up for the rest of his linemates. He's a big piece of our offense despite his goal totals being down this year.

Lundqvist has been this good for a decade....

And yes McIlrath should be playing every night. AV has a Woody for Boyle and it's annoying.

Nash is still Nash, requires the other teams best D to cover him. And us Ranger fans love McIlrath, really coming into his own, AV just loves Boyle or any other vet player over him it seems.

There has been a lot of failure and underachievement in Pittsburgh since that Cup win.

Considering you have had 2 of probably the top 3 or 4 players in the world for a decade now, only 1 Cup is actually pretty sad....

You're awfully snarky for a guy who's team was a no show last night. I get it though, far better in here then those bores in the Pens thread.
