[quote=glove_was_stuck]This is why Claude has to go. If C Miller is good he is not going to get any better sitting up in the 9th floor. Yet K. Miller and Trotman are still out there...sucking.quote]

Starting to think Neely and Sweeney need to go as well...some fresh eyes and perspective on this team may go a long way. The style that CJ wants to play isn't suited to the team and Sweeney has only been on the job a couple months but he has been in the organization for the extended period of time.

This team just plain sucks but so does the rest of the Atlantic and unfortunately the Jacobs love playoff $$$ more than being good next year or the year after.

Im just going to go ahead and pretend last night didn't happen.

Time to go acquire Fowler or Trouba.

Trouba wants too much and Fowler is just a slightly better Krug.

The Rask comment is out of line. Rask has stood on his head several games this season. How often do you say "COME ON RASK" at the tv? He has mediocre rebound control, I agree, but he is no loser. There are not 5 goalies in the league I rather have than Rask IMHO. Even last night, like someone said, most of the goals were flukey. K. Miller screwed up a couple times, one was a PP goal. Only really the 5th goal on him is where I blame Rask. The rest were so BS.

If Boston didn't ring 3 posts in the first and converted on a couple of those scrums, it could have easily been a 3-0 or 3-1 game. Even 4-1 game if they were lucky. Instead, they were unlucky and it took its toll.

That being said, I hate last night, and blame them completely, but I'm not abandoning ship. There is no reason to. A proper defenseman is on his way, it's just a matter of time. It is a transition period. And a better one than we expected. Everyone thought they would miss the playoffs. Now Boston is in contention for 2nd in the atlantic and we're whining when we lose to a top 5 or 6 team in the league? Grow a pair. Shake it off. It was an embarassement, but it's over now. Time to redeem ourselves from the embarassement we had in October due to Irwin (RIP).

My thoughts exactly. It all depends how they rebound from this. Last night was 1 in a 1000. LA got all the bounces and the Bruins simply gave up. Shouldn't happen again. They are better then that.

I just hope their is method to Sweeney's madness. Not counting Louie, they have the cap space to put that money towards a fairly impact player. I just hope they use that money wisely and I'm not convinced at this time giving Louie 6 mil is a good idea. He is awesome at 4.5 million and a solid solid 2 way player! I hate to see him go, but they need a Dman!

Quite often actually.

I don't remember this team ever being this soft. Even more frustrating is they have pretty talented core (Rask, Bergeron, Marchand Krejci) and should be much harder to play against especially at home.

Unless I'm severely revising history here( I used to drink and smoke..a lot) During the Joe Thornton era they were never good enough because Jacobs is a cheap bastard and refused to ice a real team. You knew that going into it every year. It didn't suck any less but you knew the score and didn't cost the insane amount of money the Garden "experience" costs now. Matter of fact I could walk to the ticket window minutes before the 1st and score Balcony tickets for 15-30$.

Much better price for a bullpoop team. Not 120$ a ticket to sit in the balcony, watch them quit, roll over, take it like a female dog and enjoy it. What's the direction is team going in? If they're going to continue to this way, why should I invest time, money and years off of my life dealing with the traffic choked stinking poophole that is the City of Boston if that's how they're going to roll?

This fanbase is going soft. The boos were not loud enough, not a single piece of trash thrown on the ice. Douchebags like Haggerty and NESN as a whole will make excuses and this will be the rest of the season folks. Strap in! (Or on in the Kings case)

Can understand your frustration. We expect more.
No excuse to lay down and quit. Fans are paying good money to watch games. Ticket prices are too much it is ridiculous. I am from Canada and its the same. I just got back from FLA and went to a couple games $25 ticket. Every week they have a ticket special. 4 tickets, Free Parking, Hot Dogs and Soda for $79.

Claude likes to sit him in the Press Box while playing Kevan, I can't even spell Kevin correctly, Miller.

Wonder if Claude forgets which Miller he is putting out there and just say's "ah shag it, play KevAn

Wow! That's a hell of a deal. I was in Columbus last month and we got tickets right around 25$. Plus the whole area around the Nationwide Arena is pretty cool and easily to access.

I just wish I was sitting closer so I could have thrown any and all trash I could find on the ice they just disgraced. That includes the jersey I plan on throwing in the fireplace later tonight.

It's a regular season game for (frank) sake.

Pathetic when anyone or any fan base throws trash on the field or arena.

Well, here's my two cents on that debacle...

Starting to agree with moving on from Claude. Still think he's a good coach but he is NOT a good coach for a rebuilding team. We need someone who's gonna give the kids a chance to succeed. Remember earlier in the year when we were a fast exciting team that could score with the best of them? Wtf happened to that? Claude must loosen up a bit

Kevan Miller is embarrassing to watch. No matter how well he's playing, you never know when he might LITERALLY give a back door tape to tape pass to the other team. I suppose this is on Cluade as well.

Idk why people are hard on Trotman. Hes a rookie playing on the top pair, and he's shown some good promise making strong passes out of his end and showing he at least understands how hockey works. He is NOT Kevan Miller. He is definitely overwhelmed on the top pair though.

I get what glove is saying about Rask. As much as I like the guy... Whens the last time he stole a game? Hes only as good as the team in front of him it seems.

I think the leadership stuff is nonsense. Find me a team that wouldn't be deflated heading into the 3rd down 5. I think, again, this comes back to Claudes system. At the beginning of the year the B's were flying and were a hard working team. I really think claudes system has sucked the life out of this group. They look like robots out there, no creativity, no speed, no fun.

I still think this team can compete in the east but its pretty obvious if they pulled off a miracle run they'd get white washed by the west. It's hard to say they should be sellers when they could legitimately win the division, but I think it's their best option. Lets ship out Seids for literally anything and try to get a D man for ErMcQuaid.

Oh, and I am still 100% positive everyone is massively underrating the loss of McQuaid. Hes a better D man than anyone will admit

Pathetic.

EDIT: I did read and it was a nice one. Today is rant worthy as it is a new low.
