Just remembered a dream from last night.
WD let go and Torts brought back (he was still under contract abf available in this alt reality).
Turns out my subconscious is pro tank. - dbot
In my dream, 29 other teams end up having crippling season ending injuries to all it's players, forcing them to play their AHL affliates. The Canucks being fully healthy end up going on a 30-0 run and make the playoffs and go 16-0 to win it's first Stanley Cup. The Sedins and Miller immediately retire and we end up winning 1st OA for the next two years... then I wake up and realize I ate bad pizza before I went to sleep and it's also Tuesday. |

How important is it to keep a coach like Green? Any chance you replace WD so you don't lose him? I'm not convinced he could do the job now, but if his contract is up, why not pay him NHL money to run the farm? When the current Comet prospects are ready, he transitions with them to the big club. Really embrace D&D - Max.Betts
Im ready to let WD go for sure....too many questionable moves. Too late in making changes. Too poor results.
Someone else should have their hand at it.

So about 2 months ago my GF says "you should keep your toilet seat down" I say "don't start with me, this is my house", "no, it's because of your cat, your cat is smart enough to use the toilet and if you leave the seat down he'll use it." Long story short there's cat poop in my toilet.

Benning did a great job in the 2014 draft. - Codes1087
I actually think he did better with the 2015 draft considering what picks he had, although both are very hard to judge yet.
2014
Virtanen, McCann, Demko with the 7th, 24th and 36th picks all look good although I still haven't seen Virtanen show enough yet to be taken that high.
2015
Boeser, Zhukenov, Neil and Olsen are having phenomenal years so far with 24, 114, 144 and 210th picks.
Jasek and Gaudette are also having strong years and picked at 149 and 174.
Now I doubt all these guys work out but I have to admit his drafting does look good so far.

I think 13/14/15 were the best 3 years in a row drafting in Canuck history. |

Because they just signed WD and he has a few years left on his salary.
Torts is still being paid out.
Heck, coach V might still be on the payroll!
Unless a Babcock/Quinville/Sutter were available and dying to coach here, i think it would be a tough call to make. |

Because I looked at the past years and can't find 3 years in a row that are any good.

There's lots of years where they produced decent NHL'ers, but few like the Sedins or Bure. |
