He will get us the same return as he would if he had 5 more goals, a 2nd rd pick. The only thing that has changed is where he's going. I suspect NJ, CAR, OTT, BOS, AZ, ANA will all be looking at guys like him and Parenteau. If canucks eat a bit of coin the return could be late first.

If his production was hampered by injuries then perhaps GM's would look at the larger sample size but he has no excuses. I would be ecstatic with a second round pick for him.

I highly doubt TB trades Stamkos before the TDL, much more likely they hang on to him and try and trade him at the draft. They'd get much more for him and they'd want more than Boeser, our 1st and two cap dumps

2. Shink is a goal scorer. Nichushkin is a power forward with great size and speed but hasnt been able to finish in the NHL. He could very well turn into a Girgensons type guy or more of an Andrew Ladd type player. The point is Nichushkin still needs a lot of development to reach his potential. I'm not opposed to acquiring him.
3. Julius Honka is the guy you want for Hamhuis. Straight up.
