Has he been injured in the past? That makes him fragile or unlucky, can't have that.

What round he was drafted in?

4th, so injury prone, fragile and unlucky, this is just getting worse...sounds like a good fit for the canucks

I'd really like to see Pedan get a little run with the big club.

WD needs time to get comfortable with Pedan in the lineup. I feel like a conspiracy theorist, but it seems like WD doesn't like him and if he doesn't get a good look now, we will end up losing him on waivers next season.

Subban sounds like an interesting call up too but I got the impression (he might have out right said it) from Green that he wasn't ready for the NHL.

Brad zimmer brought up an interesting name to bring up. Subban

1040 know very little. Price knows the most and after that Canucks knowledge / hockey knowledge takes a fast fall

I heard Travis Green being interviewed a week or two ago. Subban needs to be aware of his defensive game, to paraphrase.

I wonder by how much. I look at Hutton and he makes mistakes but is learning on they fly.

This team needs scoring on the back end.

He might be like Derek Pouliot

Can't we just re-assemble the 2011 team and make another run?

Not a glowing endorsement if the coach says a defenseman needs to learn more about the defensive side of the game.

Noticed I avoided using "WOW".

I'm a big fan of Subban and think that he has done really well down in Utica but he is no where ready to step up in the NHL yet. Let him continue to pile up points as a 3rd pairing, 2nd PP guy and learn how to play against bigger opponents.

Pedan and Fedun are the two who should be called up but I won't be surprised if it is Weber.

Hutton is an anomaly and you can't expect other players to follow that development.

Miller starts, Cracknell's in, and Matt Bartkowski's mom is the breakout star of the road trip so far.

Can the Canucks exploit a struggling Louis Domingue in net tonight?

good read.

" He’s such a good skater, he’ll skate himself into trouble and try to do too much and make a rush or extra move.
I’ve tried to tell him move the puck up ice and you don’t need to lead the rush and you’re not a power-play guy, that we’re training you to be hard shutdown defenceman and a penalty kill gy, Guys are stubborn. " - T.Green

interesting approach. a solid shut down guy would be great. maybe help with his decision making... would love to see him leading a rush or two in Vancouver.

This Edler injury should not affect a Hamhuis trade. Hopefully we will be so far out of it , Hamhuis won't matter.

You need to start fixing the next ten years not the next three months.

- VANTEL

I'd be more concerned about the defense improving and stalling out the tank, without Edler (frank)ing up half a game every night. This could turn into a playoff run yet....dam him

Which is why I've been saying since the off season his play is better suited to the wing. Convert him there

I bet this is eating up Aquilini, he hates losing but what does he hate more than losing at hockey, money......He'll make sure Benning tries to make those playoffs just to get that extra $2m in revenue....cheap bastard, not a long term thinker.
