This Edler injury should not affect a Hamhuis trade. Hopefully we will be so far out of it , Hamhuis won't matter.

You need to start fixing the next ten years not the next three months.

Sutter out with broken jaw. Will need surgery. Edler MAY have a broken foot/ankle and is expected to miss week.

if b level prospect is former late first rounder/early second round (likely underperforming) plus, I think that would be the minimum. His play of late may have changed that and if he continues to look solid, he should garner more.

If the Leaf trade was essentially DP for Lindberg + 2nd, I think Hamhuis should at least garner that.

I'd really like to see Pedan get a little run with the big club.

WD needs time to get comfortable with Pedan in the lineup. I feel like a conspiracy theorist, but it seems like WD doesn't like him and if he doesn't get a good look now, we will end up losing him on waivers next season.

Subban sounds like an interesting call up too but I got the impression (he might have out right said it) from Green that he wasn't ready for the NHL.
