the only fun i still find in watching games these days it's when lars eller is by far the best habs forward on a given night. it happened a few times lately (mostly because paul byron is injured) and that's what save me of having psychotic thoughts like "maybe we would do the playoffs this year if we had kept halak". maybe but we wouldn't have our best forward on that impressive checking line.

i didn't know they were converting wide shots and exaggerated stick handling into goals in the ohl. i presume it takes some time to adjust (just like that i would say that a reasonable delay to adapt yourself to this would be three years). nhl is no joke. players are wise.
