I suspect that Patches does not want Galchenyuk as his center... that is the only plausible explanation at this point. MT has shuffled the lines so much that you would think these two would end up together for more than 2 games otherwise.

Well he is the coach who supposedly has the most knowledge about the players he has. He could be wrong, but I'm sure if Galchenyuk was their second best centre then on a team that is weak down the middle would be quite stupid not to place him there.

Well, at this point, I guess I am OK with DD centring the "#1" line, as that gives the Habs less of a chance to make the playoffs.

Just hoping they get lucky in the lottery draft.
