But he produces.
And is often on his ass due to battles in front of the net, creating scoring chances.
But sure, if you want to compare them both, go ahead. |

DD has put up better offensive seasons
And why is Desharnais always falling on his ass? |

Must be why he's in his 4th year on the wing after another failed experiment at playing centre
Edit: and have extended Desharnais and Eller since drafting him |

Well he could be placed back on the 3rd line and playing those minutes, but what would they do with the other 2 third line centers? |

What failed experiment?
The one where he outpaced DD in points while having the offensive stifling Eller as his LW (first time playing wing for him) and a rotating door of useless RW?
No you are right. Habs ought to acquire Bozak |

Yes and at the same time dd was playing with weise and fleishmann you know a 4th liner and a PTO.
Glad you've decided to start bringing up the leafs |

I only brough up Bozak because he has very similar production to Galchenyuk does this year.
Well I'm not going to argue with you about who had worse wingers as both of them had poor ones. But having said that Galchenyuk continues to outpace DD with less ice-time |

And I'm a HUGE bozak fan...
Maybe that means Galchenyuk is better suited on the wing then? |

How about moving him to the LW? He is putrid defensively and turns the puck over in the neutral zone and offensive zone all the time. Not sure I'd want him as a 3rd line center on a playoff team.

Chuck doesn't have the vision to play as a center - for now.
Maybe one day.
Most probably never.
Doesn't make him a bad player. He's actually a very good 2nd line LW and could eventually become a legit 1st line winger.
Nothing terrible if that happens. |
