Look now and tell me if he is overpaid compared to the other centers making $3.5 Million. - hscesq
I'd rather wait and see if someone else has the time to do that.
So until then, I'll stick to my guns and say he's not over paid.
LARS ELLER 55 9 8 17 -9
DAVID DESHARNAIS 55 9 15 24 -6
Same amount of $. More passes for DD. |

Not sure why you're comparing them. One has nothing to do with the other. |

Yes Pete. Pretty sure Desharnais' agent did not ask for 2,5 M$ and Bergevin said SHUT UP I'LL GIVE HIM 3,5M AND YOU WILL LIKE IT. Now go out there Davy and be our first line center. What? You want to play on the 3rd line with Moen and Prust? Stop being a wussy - Fredo
Point is? |

You told him that he doesn't know that DD asked for more money and minutes. That was his response. |

DD's best stretch was with fleishmann and weise this season.
Of course they're all secondary assists... |

Unless he was part of the negotiation or privy to the inner workings of it, there's no point. |

Brandon Sutter: (20games) 5g 4a
Kyle Turris: 13g 17a
Mike Ribeiro: 6g 27a

Does DD deserve PP time and top 6 time? Most probably not. Is he overpaid? I believe not. |

Quite frankly, what contract DD has or if they wanted him to be the #1 center, or if he is qualified to play the #1 center position does not matter at this point.
What matters is why is he still getting the lots of playing time, including the PP.
That is on MT.
What matters is why is he still part of the team, rather than traded (or worse case sent to the AHL)?
That is on MB.
What matter is why is he not shooting the puck more over making poor passes or always on his ass?
That is on DD.
