I just think that at this level of play, coaching doesnt mean much.

If the players decide to quit on the coach oor team or season or whatever, there's nothing a coach can do. Be it Babcock (who really isnt missed in detroit) or any other "great coach".

Plekanec line was lights out. Has been since they've been reunited. Therrien realizes that Weise Needs to return to 4th for a couple games to refind his identity. Places the only real option with 67-51 in Andrighetto even though the latter was responsible for first Lightning goal. They get back pressure to get their first goal. Net presence on 2nd and 3rd goals. They had puck support all over the ice. The third period was ugly and Scrivens got lucky a few times but playing a good team like Tampa, it was obvious they were going to push back. This was likely their best game since November and Therrien made some solid management decisions. I still don't think they make the playoffs even though I hope so but let's give the appropriate credit when it's due.

Edit: DSP and Markov played awesome games even though they likely won't get much credit.
