Shink and Hansen for Myers - VANTEL

I wonder if Benning will sing Loui Eriksson this summer to play with the twins. It would make sense especially if Hansen gets moved. - golfingsince
That thought occurred to me ad well.

I like the honey badger but he's exactly the type of player that will get you a good return. 2 more seasons at a low cost for a good top 9 player that can move up the lineup. He can skate, check, play defensively responsible hockey while chipping in with a bit of offence. He also has quite a few games of playoff experience and is in his prime. |

Sounds like a Gillis move
When they played together, was that more on the large ice surface?

Now we need Ladd extended to up the value of Vrbata (which is near zero) and Hansen. |

I was imagining JB going after Erickson like he did with Vrbata.
Short-term, secondary scoring (and if you can move him for assets later in contract, all the better |

id say hansen is worth more than ladd at this point. another year at a great cap vs a guy wants 6x6 and is a 2 or 3 line player |

That's what I was thinking too, even if you have to overpay a bit. The selling point would be the numbers he'd be able to put up with the twins to maximize his next deal. |

a 2 year contract, without a ntc, that expires the same time as the Sedins...
Was wondering if he would end up on the second line and just do pp with the Sedins? Different options with Erickson though, think he is a bit more dynamic than Vrbata. |

Let's see, 30 games, need 20 wins.
Win 2, lose 1, win 2, lose 1, win 2, lose 1... Do you see the pattern here? - 1970vintage
Do you have room in there for 10 more ot losses? Or that we have come nowhere near a 66% win rate ...all season? |

You sir, might be 100% right. But here's the thing, that NTC. I totally understand asking Hamhuis to waive it, but do you really think Hansen wants to go somewhere else?

So, now what for the Jets? They gonna keep all three of Buff, Trouba and Myers? I would tend to doubt it.
Was wondering this, and thought, why not?
Myers' cap hit seems reasonable, Buf isn't goin' anywhere now, Trouba is still developing and I don't think they are in a rush to trade him, before they really know what they have, unless it is a big return... - hillbillydeluxe
Exactly. Somehow a team like CHI can stack a roster with talent like Toews, Kane, Hossa, Keith, Seabrook, Crawford and yet a team like Winnipeg would have a hard time getting Buff, Trouba and Myers signed? I don't think it would be difficult at all.
Fun fact: Duncan Keith makes $500,000 more per season than Vrbata and Edler. Brent Seabrook makes $800,000 more per season. Somethings wrong. |

Duncan Kieth has the most team friendly contract in the league, it is what is called an outlier my man. AAV of top4 dman I'd wager is a 4-6 mil, top 2 6-9 |
