He is serviceable for now but they know they will have to upgrade the lineup.

I think you'll see guys like Bardreau and Goulbourne filling in those roles possibly. Maybe Martel.

Hak seems to have made VdV is golden boy. There's no good way to justify him being an every-day NHL player based on this season. If Brayden Schenn can sit as a healthy scratch, then VdV could miss a game here and there as well. Hak seems to love him though, because he is a good soldier.

I think it is more of circumstance. Letting guys play in the AHL and not putting them into a 4th line roll with limited minutes right now.

I actually think he could be moved at the TDL. Maybe they get a later pick but he could be a good soldier for a playoff team. Provide some pk minutes and 4ht line role.

He's not worth wasting time on. Plus, commenting on Timmy would take valuable time away from endlessly arguing over semantics, who is or isn't elite, and what's the best kind of pie.

IIRC, the guy who started that site (who knew nothing about hockey) and Hitchcock's girlfriend also used to have epic battles.

And there were 3 other Toronto fans who used to just troll all day long on the site, with sometimes hilarious results.
