It was nice to see Hamhuis play a solid game. That was probably one of his better performances on the season.

I can't think of another good thing to say about that facking shltty game.

Those overtime games are haunting us, and I'm not talking about making the playoffs.

Hamhuis increases his trade value. We commit to trading vets and get a higher draft pick. Next year, we have a stronger team for it. It's all working out.

And McCabe was part of getting the twins.

Yes, the Linden trade is the greatest trade in Canuck history, without that trade we are the Oilers.

- A_SteamingLombardi

The Mccabe for Sedins trade is the greatest then. The Linden trade was good for futures, scorched earth for the 'win now' era they thought we were in.

The Lu trade carried the team for 5 years. Definitely in the conservation.

That was Keenan and Messier wanting Linden gone since Messier was already causing problems in the dressing room and Linden was caught in the middle of it. It just happened that they traded for two players who brought about the best era in Canucks history with Luongo and the Sedins.

The Linden trade set everything up though, without that trade there's no WCE, there's no second top three pick for Henrik and there's no Bertuzzi for Luongo.

So we lose to two different last place teams two games in a row. We score one goal in each game. Are we still making a run for the playoffs?

I love how our answer to Ferland was Sbisa. Has he ever been close in a fight?

I think it's become pretty clear everyone in here is on board with the tank. We had a few stragglers that just took a bit longer to open their eyes, but they've finally joined the party.

Just think, if 6 of the 12 games we lost in ot were regulation losses, we'd be in last place.

I think what was also apparent tonight is we need to bring in a player with a good shot on the D and a mean SOB that can fight. I give Sbisa credit but I wish he played for another team . We do not need Hamhuis. We need a guy that will make a person pay for going after our stars. We do not need another minute muncher.

Yes that's true. In order to develop young players you need guys to protect them. It also makes the games more entertaining when we lose and Odjick and Brashear are skating around beating the poop out of guys.

I like Sbisa and the effort he gives but Pedan would have been a better choice against this type of team. Canucks need to start bringing in specialist and stop trying to play by committee

One of Desjardins faults is hes to loyal to certain players, i liked what Pedan showed it was more then enough to keep a roster spot over weber and bart at the time
