The big question is what are we building - VANTEL
of course....So we can assume next season we have edler, tanev, sbisa as regulars
Hutton, biega penciled in.... tree and pedan as possible if not in the "likely" category.
Thats 7 already.
I like how its going, with 2 rookies this year and maybe 2 next. Bigger, stronger, younger
Personally, I 'd say Biega replaces Tanev (I dont mean in the pairing) and makes him expendable. Tanev has value in the league. If a trade for a guy like Hamonic or Vatanen can be executed for tanev (or tanev + something minor), we'd be stronger on offense or physical play |

Im torn, if Henrik does bad tonight I want Sutter on the top line taking the faceoffs and stuff, but then again sutter on the top line would make our pick higher in the draft |

He's married and has two kids, met his wife while playing in Vancouver (Kim Clark). He's not gay, and even if he was, who cares! |

Sorry Dragon but what makes you think a "defensive" dman is going to come over from the KHL and be a saviour for our dcorps? Did you know cricfree.tv actually broadcasts KHL games? He's a third pairing dman in THAT league...
It's intriguing how Biega makes Tanev expendable. Sure, they might play similar styles, but unless the return is for a legit top pairing Dman we're better off keeping him.

You guys are aware that most dmen spend a few years in minors after being drafted, especially ones from after 3rd round... Pedan will likely see action with Canucks next year but I'll bet anyone its 35 games or less. |

Disagree. For me Biega is never more than a #6, but I like him in that role. He doesn't have the instinct, size or IQ to play top 4 IMO. Great work ethic though and that stuff rubs off on others |
