I'm sure Bettman was watching the offensive output by the oilers today and agrees you guys are only a Matthews away from being contenders. Just like u were a hall, rnh, yakupov and a McDavid away... - 1993_Cup_Champs
you need some kleenex for your tears awe |

you can counter it with ahl bottom pair dman schultz - Bigern4MVP
Why are we trading that POS to the Flames? Your reply made zero sense as usual. |

Too bad we cant replicate the recent winning ways of the Habs, who have shown for weeks that theyre just as good without Carey Price. One can only dream... |

I wish Price was playing today. What's his record against the Oilers? |

Would have lost regardless. Other than the first 5 minutes they had no legs and no sync today. Couldnt even take a shot without hitting shin pads or a stick. |

That sure wasn't much fun
Totally owned the neutral zone and choked off any possibility of speed on offence. Therrien employed a perfect strategy
Saw the loss comin early after scrivens made a few big saves quickly and we struggled to muster much beyond that
Momentum killer

Price has played in 12 of the habs 53 games and yet we still almost 10 pts clear of the oilers. Sad isn't it? |

Not sure that Schultz was really involved in any egregious errors that resulted in goals, but he sure was bad today.
That said- was anyone other than eberle early and workhorse Davidson any good? |

They were totally out of sync today and had no legs other Mcdavid and Ebs and somewhat Hall. The D? A (frank)ing tire fire as usual. Lost in the two blowout wins were the amount of saves Talbot still made in those games. I may sound like a broken record on this point but they miss Klefbom badly. |

Nah- totally agree
Talbot seemed to have been overlooked in both those wins.
Sticks in lanes, line up in the neutral zone, slow it down. Mtl did what they had to |

You are correct sir. We just humiliated the suddenly streaking oilers. You know, the ones that the sports highlight shows just can't get enough of these days. |

If the Oilers play Schultz again tomorrow they clearly are not trying to win. Send him and Yakupov back down to the minors, we won't miss them. |

Maybe the only good player out there today. Although some were a lot worse than others. |
