I'm not trading him exclusively for that reason. You're getting an established RHD that's just entering his prime who can run a PP (something we have lacked for a long time). It's not like I'm moving him for no value. St Louis might consider it if they think Parayko's development is enough to make Shatty expendable and their lack of elite LHD prospects.

Play Cleandening for Schultz or even Reinhart and team just automatically improve, there's not need to make trades right now with the exception of trading Schultz for anything as well Fayne and Purcell, PC will improve the team in off season, I know that Nuge might be the one going out in a trade but I think that right now is a mistake it should be Eberle, not one knows how Leon will do next season, unless Nuge is bringing someone better then Hamonic then sure make that trade.

I personally dislike Purcell's style, but he holds his own on that line, as well as Pouliot. Trading Purcell would mean we lose a player that can score for Yakupov too. Our RW is thin, I'd rather trade Eberle and sign Purcell.

Yakupov would be reunited with McDavid.
