Crosby and Letang took 7 minutes to beat the hottest team in the NHL right now.
After the first goal I saw Crosby going around working up the team, whether it wasn't shown in the past or didn't really happen I don't remember seeing Sid rally the team vocally like that. Incredible comeback tonight. |

The Kessel bobble set it up lol.
And then Letang snubbed him on the high five during the celebrations - Guile
I thought you were making stuff up, he really did snub him, wouldn't even look at him... Couple that with his third line demotion... That looks bad on Kessel. |

Letang is producing at Karlsson numbers AND his defensive game is much much better. Anyone complaining is crazy. Can't actually wrap my head around the fact that there was some here that wanted to trade him for Phaneuf. - Pens_Burgh
Yea, Oneonta Penguin has been pretty quiet with the trade Letang talk... |

Oneonta complains about his durability, it's Johnny Wrath who claims Letang isn't a top pairing dman. Haven't seen much of him lately. |

There are literally only a handful of d-man in the NHL who bring to the table what Letang does, it is staggering the difference the way this team plays with him and without him. |

Sid will be #2 by the end of the year in scoring and the Pens will be #2 in the Metro by the end of the year barring any catastrophic injuries (Sid, Geno, or Tanger). Bold but not so bold predictions. |

Letang is great when he is healthy. Anyone denying that is delusional. However, it's equally delusional to ignore the number of games he misses. |

Letang is arguably the best Dmen in Pens history, only others would be Ulfy and Murphy. I do love Kasperitis though. Of the big 3 Letang is the most important to the teams success, for the past few years the D begins and ends with him.
If Kessel is going to take up $6.8, he's gotta show up more often. His goals come in batches every 3 weeks, just not worth it. That and every time they show him on the bench he's completely gassed with his head down.
Good comeback win and effort by 58 and 87. |

I agree, but its not like you can move Letang and get anything close to equal coming back on the blue line and you will pay just as much for a Dman thats not as good via FA. No prospects can replace him, so if you're a Letang hater, you're gonna just have to deal with it. |

wasn't there very long, what 4 seasons? He's an all time great HOF'er, but the majority of his career wasn't in Pitt. |

Just looked up Coffey, Murhp and Ulf. They only played 4-5 seasons in Pitt, seemed like Murphy was there a lot longer. Letang is on what 7 seasons now? |

4 and a half seasons and a much much different era of hockey. I do however think they are very similar skaters/players Coffey/Tanger |
