Oh great some in between period spilling of knowledge from a very out of breath Lovejoy. Thanks for saying a bunch of words but telling us nothing! This game has been frantic so far. I think the Panthers are padding their shot totals, there is no way they have 20 shots already. And out young Mr Zatkoff has looked decent, lets hope with all our might that this game does not go to a shootout. If Rutherford really has the green light I'd like to see us get Mathias, Purcell(50% retained), Gryba, and Hamhuis(50% retained) if we can pull it off without giving up too much. As long as we don't trade Murray, Sprong or Pouliot or Jarry for that matter(I would like him to grow a bit more to maximize the return.) Yes I am looking at guys with 1-1.5 million dollar deals first and foremost. We just need some health right now.
Purcell Crosby Hornquist
Hagelen Malkin Kessel
Mathias Bonino Bennet(Rust)
Kunitz Fehr Cullen
Maatta Letang
Pouliot Hamhuis

20 shots against in the first. lord. - stayinthefnnet
I'm sorry, but no way did FLA have 20 shots. They had a good period, but not 20 shots good. |

Dat Flurree. I seen him dahtahn and dat guy was just sittin there, goofin' off. I flicked him in the eye with a gumband and called him a jagoff, and told him that the Stillers are better than the Pens and that he couldn't keep an Ahr City out of a sweeper attachment let alone stop the puck. He ain't like Bill Cahr. He got One for the Thumb, but when I'm down in Little Warshington I'll see him at Giant Iggle buyin' a hoagie. The guy goes to East Jabib just to get a bite to eat, yinz should go check it aht.

Steigy was saying that previous Penguins coaches have complained that the Panthers were being generous with their own team's shot totals. Kind of like the Ravens and the tackle statistic. |

If Phil Kessel got a point for every time he was offside or put someone offside, Gretzkys NHL point record would've been broke a long time ago |

Seeing that E. staal is playing lw, if the price is reasonable, would you want to see pens sign him to a 3-4 yr contract. |

Laughable that the shots are 33 to 14 lol....closer to 23 to 18 from what ive seen. |

Not unless the price is 3 million a year. His production has gone down every year and that is a trend not going to change. That would be an albatross deal in no time. |

The price won't be reasonable and no way he takes that term. The Pens won't be players for high priced players in the off season. I think Ruth will focus on D if he's dipping into FA.
