Guy is a player and seemingly one who looks to improve....... Interestingly enough I read somewhere about Cooper breaking up the Triplets. He said he tried Kucherov with Stamkos but he always deferred to him (Panarin to Kane early in the year?) so he tried Palat with Stamkos and that worked. Said that Kucherov changed his game playing with Stamkos and Palat didn't.

Love that a guy like Kucherov looks to a guy like Kane to improve but at the same time you have to find balance and do what you do best while looking to add to your game.

As Kucherov notes there is just no time and space come playoff time. Something all those who are looking to make trades need to keep in mind. It's not as much skill as experience that buys one time and space, and that's playoff hockey.

Ya maybe , HAWKS out shot them almost 2 to 1 in 2nd . And a early goal in the 3rd seemed to kill the teams momentum .Crow did not have his best , and Hossa was MIA . Remember thinking going into the 3rd it was anyone's game , then the quick goal by Sharp .HAWKS seemed ready for the Christmas break after that ..

That is what I remember from the Dallas game. Hawks were not playing too badly until Sharp scored like 5 seconds into the 3rd and they absolutely folded. It was very uncharacteristic of the Hawks to just give up, but they really did that night.

I was hoping the ducks wouldn't make the playoffs. I don't like these teams that play heavy. (L.A. / Anaheim) I'm wondering how the mother goose line will stand up to playoff hockey.

I must say i was impressed with Anisemovs body position in the last o.t. he really controlled the puck that way but little Arti's gotta finish on those breakaways. I hope kaner gave him the business.

Btw. Don't y'all think the guy that Shaw hit that was smacking him with his elbow while he was down deserves some league review. Seemed like intent to injure to me. Just sayin.

Panarin is showing improvement on his breakaway. He no longer only goes glove side, he just has to elevate the puck more stick side and go for the water bottle.
