Lets see WD roll some lines.
hope the speed gives Torts fits. - hillbillydeluxe
Rolling 4 lines is probably a safe way to ease players back after extended leave, injuries, etc.
I like the lineup, only with JM could take Vrby's place somehow... |

probably referring to his comments on wanting Benning to be a Buyer instead of a seller at TDL. |

Good for Hamhuis. I don't want players on my team that don't want to win. |

This is a really classy gesture from a very classy guy...Although I would have preferred if Danny had used that money top buy truck loads of peanut butter and send it to Denis Potvins house. |

I just tweeted at BrowntoBure. He states it is because Hamhuis is unwilling to waive his NTC considering the poop year he has had. I chose not to respond. |

He should have given it to a charity. Those trainers make enough money. |

Contrary to some beliefs, you'd be really really really really (as in you'd never find one) hard pressed to find a player willing to lose for a better draft pick. They give two poops about draft position.
Managers tank, players don't. They may become disengaged, but they'll never want to lose. |

Probably because that is exactly the sort of selfless act we expect from one of the 2 best human beings ever to play for our cherished franchise.
I alsothink most of us are licking peanut butter with our fingers in support of this generous acknowledgement. |

I hate that sh1t that a player at the end of his contract owes the team to waive his NTC!! |

I agree with this JB decides what goes on the ice, but the players take pride and want to win. They may not always do a good job of it, but players aren't the ones tanking. Maybe JB's hiring of WD, a rookie coach who seems out-classed on many nights but is good for the kids, was the ultimate tank move of all |

I think a lot of us seen this coming. As a fan of course we want the draft pick, as the player you want what's best for your family.
If it is the case that he refuses to move it will put an end of trade speculation and also put an end to hoping to return next year. |

GM's should have the ntc expire Feb 1st of the last year, that would still be a good length of certainty for a player and give the club some flexibility. don't hate the player, hate the game. |
