You have to recognize talent when you see it. I saw Connor mcdavid score that goal last night against blue jackets. The kid is incredible. He can play sooo fast with lots of speed and hid mind|intellegence thinks fast and adapts to high tempo game. He is a special young man and quite nice to watch him play. Come on, you know using that stat is biased (high) due to 14 games he's played vs. the 54 games that a guy like P. Kane has played.

14 games may be a small sample size but they are the first 14 games of the guys career, are you implying there is a good chance he is going to regress rather than get better with experience?
If you have watched him much it isn't like he is getting some lucky breaks, he could easily have a lot more points than he does.

Fair enough. And i certainly can't say theres ZERO chance.
But it's a huge longshot considering a bunch of factors.
And I assume that like me, you don't really care. Just something nice to talk about
I want wins more than anything. Even if that means defenders keying on him and shutting him down from time to time, opening up ice and easier competition for hall etc |
