It's really a win win situation in that if they push for the playoffs with a good two week stretch here (haven't checked the schedule) the young guys will get some good experience. If they don't, their odds for a good draft position get better.

Well...I suspect he is but there is no way he will acquire a rental. If the team is two points out of a playoff spot how do you tell the sedins (and the kids) he doesn't believe in them and then have a firesale? He can't. Their record in the next 2 weeks will determine his course of action. For the record, I want the UFA's gone either way I just don't think management can sell it to the core of the team and "most" season ticket holders/ corporate sponsors
