Im hoping its weber. Theres no need for him currently with how our team is working with bart over him. - SRam19
maybe trade him to the Rags, assuming they are going to move Yandle?
for pick/prospect.
McIlrath? |

Good afternoon gentlemen and Carol.
Exciting times. We knew it was coming. Has Edler been traded yet?
This is certainly becoming an active group with a bunch of good chatter. I look forward daily to everyone's input.

Will be interesting to finally solve the mystery - VANTEL
it'll be good to see what he does on N american ice and if he's more mobile that his size would indicate... |

I heard on the 1040 today someone say Pirri is on the trade block |

interesting. He can definitely put the puck in the net. looking at his second straight 20 goal season this year... Vrbata for him and a late pick? |

Thanks for this!
The scenario is more complicated because you also need to add in the salaries of the players that have been called up as injury replacements over the course of the season.
But your list emphasizes the fact that the Canucks definitely need to move out another body before Hamhuis can get back into the lineup.
General Fanager is showing a current roster at the max of 23, including Prust. He moves out to make room for Henrik coming back. But the team will also need another spot for Hamhuis.
They can send down Hutton...or Horvat!...without them needing to clear waivers. Weber/Bart/Cracknell/Vey would all be exposed but these days, waivers seems like a pretty low-risk move. - Carol Schram
Maybe Biega goes down? I could see maybe Hutton if they were trying to ship Hamhuis out. I feel like Weber on waivers would be the best option overall though. maybe he finds his offensive touch in the A |

cracknell likely to go....most expendable position is the 5C.
Perhaps once Hammer is back it could be weber.
Hutton is a playmaking D and the only one we have pretty much, so we need him. |

Can't see Anahiem giving up Vatanen and a blue chip for Edler. maybe straight across. Vatanen is a little small for my liking but clearly has a tonnes of offesive upside. Theodore, what's not to like. I don't think they're trading him.

Honestly all I hope for is a defenseman who can wisely get the puck out of our own end. |

Lebrun said the other day on 1040 , if Edler was ever being shopped 29 teams would be asking how much.
I think we all know it is 2 Biegas but the other GMs don't know that |

Oh you bet I would.
Everyone check out his highlights from world juniors. Guy is mobile, strong on his skates. Does not allow forwards to get to net. Perfect for us.
Hopefully he will watch footage of guys like pronger and get a mean streak.

Where would he land is the question.
I could see Hutton being demoted, but I don't think he's top 4 material myself.
Maybe both?
Edler-Tanev
Sbisa-Hammer
Biega-Bart.
You don't think Hutton is top 4? I would have to disagree with that. |
