As has been pointed out earlier, if you truly wish to have a discussion with canuck fans try to be more engaging, rather than being rantish because you disagree that some would like a top 10 pick. At this particular moment in canucks history "they suck". They will be extremely fortunate to make the PO, (I'm being overly generous here) and are more than likely to pick in the top ten.

I follow every blog, and infrequently respond, but attacks like yours will only bring retaliatory replies where I will have to step in, hope you understand what I'm trying to advise.

Small, but not a surf. I think if paired with a larger, shutdown D, he could be serviceable. Again, he won't be a 1D, but a decent top4 with a chance to improve.

1D's are too costly imo to get via trade.
At the same time, i think offer-sheets for 1Ds are too costly.
I like the guys you mentioned too, but am not into offer-sheets at this stage in the rebuild.

I think our best bet would be to uncover a top4 D with potential that is stuck behind better players and look to draft a stud.
