IMO it's still an offseason move. You have to look at what's going to be available on draft day before you start moving young talent. - golfingsince
Yes, he thought of trading Mcann is absurd at the moment. |

Yeah for a 1st, and then his play pulls the sharks out of a playoff spot. |

I'm not saying I want him back, but as an interesting mind game, I wonder what the Canucks would look like right now if Gillis was still here. Would they be lower in the standings, or closer to a playoff team? Undoubtedly the prospect pool would be a lot shallower, although maybe that's not even true. Shlt, if he was the gm last year we might have McDavid. |

If its me and I can land an early 20s dman with similar promise he is gone today. we have center depth and one of the worst defenses in the league. |

I am not sure we could have endured Gillis. The team was getting older and we didn't have a lot down the pipe |

He's also depth in the middle a decade from now, him and Bo are really the only two players we have for the future down the middle. |

When you start taking people out on charters let me know. Not that I'll go, I'm terrified of the ocean, but I'll say congrats... |

Actually, it's the government that causes cancer, it's a known fact that in the 70's during the Cold War, they created a virus that they purposefully exposed civil service workers to, to help along human evolution that through hybridization. The virus was a vector for alien DNA taken from the Roswell crash victim just in case you were wondering. |
