Your too tired to make claims like this, and besides the 1sts and 2nds they'll get for reimer, PAP, Matthias, polak, boyes and lupul can't help them this year so it's only downhill from here. |

I think Edmonton may end up being the best Canadian team this year
So, you just have to be near or at the bottom of the league for 9 years or whatever it is, and win 4 lottery picks and have one of them look like a generational talent. - Aetherial
easy as pie!
im looking at the standings and i think Montreal can drop behind all the Pacific teams especially now that Edmonton has McDavid back. it's the East teams that worry me. we're still 9 (frank)ing points ahead of Columbus. i don't even know how that's possible. |

Montreal's current pace since December 1 would put them at about 65-70 points. |

Some leafs fans still cling to that hope.
Polak, Paranteau and Reimer may fetch something... but it isn't going to be much.

Less than that I would think.
isn't it 5 wins in 25 games, not sure how many loser points were in there, but even so, I think you are looking at more like a 50 pt. pace |

i think it's like 6.5 points/month. so a bit over 2 months left should be good for 13-15 points. assuming we keep this coaching staff in place and Price doesn't come back. i'm actually having trouble imagining them picking up that many points. |
