That's a lot of Cs and Ds - cburgess
I believe the Cs and Ds are likelihood of player reaching their talent ranking level number, or something like that. It doesn't rank them as a prospect, lots of teams players have Cs and Ds. Dylan Strome is an 8.5 with a C probability. That being said, the highest ranking prospect in the habs system is a 7.5 C which is probably not a good thing... |

I am not even mad anymore.
I just kinda laugh when they make a bad play, take a bad penalty or when they end up losing... and hope for some lottery luck in the summer.
I am no longer invested in this season, regardless of what happens. - Mashadar
There really are a lot of similarities between Leafs and their fans last year, and the Habs and their fans this year.
The only real difference is that the Habs have Subban and Price will be back, even if it is next year. The leafs don't have anyone likely to be on that level in their entire careers.

your comment about DiPietro isn't far off. we're getting to a point with Price where you can't count on him to be there for you. this is the third time in 4 seasons he will end the season on the shelf. obviously nothing has been as severe as this but at what point do you stop calling it bad luck?
EDIT: and if memory serves, he was injured to end the 2011-2012 season. and also had a lengthy absence in 2008-2009. |

It sounds almost as reliable and scientific as the E1-E5 system.
In other words, somewhat more useful than "possession" stats, that are derived from shots towards the net.

I think Edmonton may end up being the best Canadian team this year
So, you just have to be near or at the bottom of the league for 9 years or whatever it is, and win 4 lottery picks and have one of them look like a generational talent.
