I am saying if the Habs had or did not have him it would not make a significant impact on the club. He is a cheap no risk serviceable player to slot into the lineup until you can find something better.

I think....Fact is habs are 2 top 6 forwards away from being an offensive threat. It's not the players fault for playing in roles they aren't designed for

If you play Pax - Chucky - Gally on the first line, they need a complete 2nd line (no Plek and no Eller). Mathews would be a great start.
Then Fleischman DD Weise on the 3rd wouldn't look so bad.
