Galchenyuk is talented.. but yeah.
To me when he lost all credibility has a captain when he wussyed out in front of Brouwer - Fredo
he's super talented but he's unreliable for whatever reason. he's going to the next John LeClair. he's going to get traded to Dallas or something and turn into a 70 point player. |

I'm sure Bergevin has offers for some players, but still won't pull the trigger because he feels he's not getting enough back.
Problem is, the quality of the those offers is dropping game after game.
It's too late to pull the trigger at this point. The only trades will probably be Weise and Gilbert for not much of a return. - Pecafan Fan
well if you're selling i think the offers get better closer to the deadline no? either way i agree, i'm not sure how much he can unload at the deadline. |

Could be worse. He could be playing like Yakupov, like he's a 12 year old playing in the NHL. |

He's good enough to be on or two guys, problem is he tries to beat all 5. And he can't hit the net. |

after Price was hurt the second time and they started to lose terribly, immediately, it would have made sense. At this point it all a moot point.
EDIT* I think its clear that MacCarron, Carr, Byron, Ghetto and Hudon all have the potential to fill top 6 roles, but playing them right now on 3rd and 4th lines doesnt look good for them. At least in my opinion. - nords21

then you might as well trade Price and Subban too and start over. because otherwise the point is to find more players who can do what Pacioretty does, which is score at more than a 14-goal pace. as big of a wussy as Pacioretty has devolved into and as terrible a captain as he is, he's still the only forward capable of scoring with any consistency on this team. it's not his fault he's the only talented forward. - DoubleDown
You might have to trade Pacioretty, although I don't see enough Habs games to know if your assessment is fair? Leafs did it with Kessel. You are seeing the result this year. The team sucks and has no real offensive threat anymore, but people don't seem to be as upset about it.
