I was always well aware that the "Habs aren't very good without Price" chatter was fairly accurate, but holy (frank) I didn't think it would be quite this bad |

I think they are fine with tanking and that includes Bergevin and Molson. Building through the draft is what Bergevin has been preaching. The Price injury just gave the team an opportunity to do so. I have a hard time believing that Bergevin is this incompetent. A panic move would have been made at the end of December if they really thought that Price would be coming back. They likely know that he is being shut down and there is really no point to making a big trade if you are going into the playoffs with Condon and Scrivens. There is no way Therrien is this calm after such a horrid stretch. (frank)ing guy seems resigned to playing out the stretch. |

Do you think any jobs in MTL are safe this offseason if they miss the playoffs? |

Its beyond Price at this point. They would be maybe a .400 team with him, without they are .100, either way they are on their way out of the playoffs. At least at a .100 win rate they are on the fast track to a top 5 pick! |

If Price was out for the season, he wouldn't practice on a daily basis. no? |

He really hasn't been practising. He's skating around but hasn't been healed enough to wear his pads. Time has run out and he's basically just staying in shape IMO and following through with his rehab, regardless of the schedule. |

Cyberhabs - I partly agree only. The big problem with the team turning poopty so fast & being in a high pressure market is that other GMs are going to try and fleece you because they know your team is desperate. Bergevin doesn't wanna get fleeced. |
