Hanks here for two more years after this year, Sutter is here for 5 years and Bo is not going anywhere.
You have Vey and MCCann battling for 4 th line and so far WD likes Vey. What do you do? - VANTEL
I think we need D more then Center, If JB makes a package around McCann i would not have a problem |

When did Pens sign Sestito? We're they hoping for John Scott 2.0 ? |

Did they! Because I think they wasted 200 million dollars to get to the second round...idiots. - LeftCoaster
Minny in 2011 missed the playoffs we know we went to PO . That off season Minny aquired Suter and Parise and have made the playoffs every year since. We missed with Torts and look like we will miss again this year . I sort of think they are heading in the right direction . Us , we need to wait and see. |

You didn't say sign in Vancouver . Your question was is there two high end UFAs that want to be reunited to their hometown
Staal and a Stamkos would love to go home and play on the Leafs.
I want a high draft pick this year.
I want to get rid of aging Vets Hamhuis a Vrbata Miller Burrows a Higgins
I want the Canucks to either offer sheet trade or pick up a solid young Dman that will be here for 7 years.
I would like to aquire a top 6 younger winger. I don't want to waste cap space on the likes of Eriksson Ladd Byfuglien Hamhuis or anyone else 30 plus.
I don't want to waste cap space on crap players like Weber or Satorelli
You tell me am I tanking or develop? Maybe a little of both - VANTEL
Staal grew up closer to Winnipeg than to TO. Thunder Bay is a good 13 hour drive from Toronto.

I was thinking ONT . I was only giving him a hard time anyways. I have no idea if Staal wants to play in TO . If he is smart he wouldnt |

I tell you, I felt good for Scott yesterday, but I feel better for Biega today. I love seeing long shots win
Edler Sbisa Tanev Hutton Biega . One more spot to fill . |

Ontario is pretty big. A kid from Windsor is more likely to want to play for the Wings for example than the Leafs. A kid from the north like Giroux would probably want to play for the Habs all things being equal, just as I imagine a kid from Golden would want to play for the Flames as much as the Canucks. |

So you don't think Mcann will improve over the next year? That's pessimistic |

I drove through it as a teenager and remember it being big. I went to North Bay once too. Even flying over it takes a while |

You are putting words in my mouth.
I think right now WD has him behind Vey. He needs to gain weight first of all. Right now they are playing him every second game. I think playing every game on the farm as his body grows is better for him. That is not pessimistic at all.
I actually like when Hank is out and they put him in . I think he plays a lot better there with skilled forwards rather than on 3 Rd or 4 th line. |

I don't wanna make the playoffs, I wanna win a Stanley Cup!! That's gonna take time to build. Put some pieces in place then spend the money on UFA's. |

North Bay area is where my father is from. Around there it is about a 50/50 split between english or french first language. For the most part, once you get north of there the communities are more francophone. Hearst (where Giroux is from) is about 90% french. Thunder Bay is more anglophone but they really have no attachment to TO. Minneapolis is less than 6 hours away. Much of northern ontario resents TO for various reasons. |

The way he's a shoot first player I wouldn't mind seeing him on the wing of a playmaking center.. And I think at this point Boeser should be untouchable unless we were blown away.. The kid is just a pure sniper anf only getting better everyday |

At least be in a position to be a serious contender for a few years. Obviously the ultimate goal is to win the Cup, however just being a threat is fun. |

Beautiful land and lakes up there. The size of the sturgeons are nuts. Need a baseball bat to knock them out |

Then you have just changed that recently because earlier you were all for making the playoffs . You didn't want the kids in a losing environmental. |

We have 4 good centres but they need to wait until Hank moves on. MCCann is a talented centre, why do you want to move him over. I would prefer moving Hank to wing let Sutter do the faceoffs or share |

I never really fished for sturgeon growing up, mostly trout and pickerel (walleye). The swimming can be pretty sweet in the summer compared to most of BC. The northern part of the province is alright, but winters are hard. I'm not a huge fan of the south. Ottawa is alright but relatively boring IMO.
BC's as beautiful as it gets, but damned expensive. The maritimes seem pretty wicked so far, but the economic outlook is depressing. I have a pretty decent job though so it puts me in the top 10% here. Winters a milder than ON, but worse than the lower mainland obviously. Summer seems like it's going to be fantastic! The ocean gets up to 25C in the summer here at parlee beach, warmest water north of the Carolinas from what I understand. |
